This photo was made from two photos; a group photo with a vacant position for Salvatore and a photo of Salvatore thaken some time before he died. Salvatore's photo was cut and pasted onto the group photo.

Notice that Salvatore's left hand is under a hat, he had his hand badly damaged by a gun accident and wore a prosthesis. According to stories he gained attention of his shool pupils by running up the isle in his classroom banging his prosthesis on the desks.
