  3. On the Death Register NAME is recorded as 'Francis Murray ' this error caused much difficulty locating the registration of Johanna's death.
  4. Johanna was also called 'Johannah', 'Jo' and 'Hanna'
  5. Johanna and Francis when they married in 1881 first lived in Inverell, when they left Inverell is unknown, they lived in Narrabri in 1886, Warialda in 1888 and Gil Gil via Moree in 1891, they probably lived in other places too.
  6. Johanna Murphy came from Cork, Ireland and arrived in Australia 12JUN1879 on the ship 'Samuel Plimsoll' aged 21 yrs.
    On their marriage Certicate her father is Jeremiah Murphy her mother is Kate Connell
  7. View Francis's papers at the National Archive of Australia which states that his parents were British subjects.
  8. Francis died in Manilla, N.S.W.
